From your first breath to your last, Gunnison Valley Health (GVH) offers comprehensive health care to residents in Gunnison Crested Butte communities. Within the health system, GHV offers 360° of care, from family care to emergency medical services, behavioral health services and senior care. GVH is a participant in both Medicaid and Medicare.
The GVH hospital is a 24-bed, short-term acute care facility owned and operated by the County of Gunnison. The hospital is also a Level IV Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency care staff trained to provide care for standard medical and traumatic emergencies, as well as extreme emergencies such as cold weather injuries and high altitude injuries.
While a small hospital, GVH has earned many awards in recent years.
