Closing Weekend at Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) is April 4-6, 2026. Crested Butte loves costumes and a good party, and closing weekend is one of the biggest parties of the year! Skiers don wacky outfits and get their last runs in before lifts close for the season.

Deadhead Ed’s End of Season Party
Send off the ski season with Deadhead Ed’s End of Season Party with Easy Jim! This event will be held at the Center for the Arts in Crested Butte. Jam out to “psychedelic sounds and soul-stirring rhythms.” Mountain Jam will also be playing. All proceeds benefit the Crested Butte Community School Enrichment Program.
