Spawned by students and developed by an entire community, the ICELab at Western embodies the landscape-changing potential of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship (ICE). Now, the ICELab supports the University and businesses and communities in the Gunnison Valley through programs, business development services and coworking amenities.

The ICELab delivers direction, education and other tools to support developing businesses and promote new ideas. We offer business development programs for exporting business.

ICELAB INCUBATOR PROGRAM

The ICELab Business Incubator is designed to foster startup companies in rural Colorado. This program provides Gunnison Valley startups in the early stages of business development with the tools and resources they need to build and grow a business. Participants receive a membership to the ICELab and have access to all its resources.

Outdoor Industry Funding Summit

The Outdoor Industry Funding Summit (OIFS) brings early-stage outdoor industry companies and investors together. Companies have the opportunity to network with each other and build relationships with investors. Companies also pitch to the investors for the chance to receive funding.
