Ride carnival rides, snack on fried food and cotton candy, and enjoy summer at the Cattlemen’s Days Carnival! Day tickets and unlimited wristbands are available.

Mt. Crested Butte’s 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks
The town of Mt. Crested Butte will have live music and fireworks at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort base area. Hear music from local artist Rachel VanSlyke and headliners Twenty Hands High and Devon Worley Band. Enjoy children’s activities all day and a BBQ dinner later. Catch it at the Red Lady Stage. Gates open at 3:30 P.M. with festivities from 4 P.M. to 10 P.M.

4th of July at Jorgensen Park in Gunnison
Attend July 4th events at Jorgensen Park all day! The day kicks off with the balloon rally at 6:30 A.M. Activities include kids games from 4-5 P.M., a food court and beer garden from 4-9 P.M., free SUP demos from 5-6 P.M., the Pup n’ Sup race at 6 P.M., live music from Stoplight Observations at 6:30 P.M., a color guard presentation and the National Anthem at 9:15 P.M., and fireworks concluding the day at 9:30 P.M.

4th of July Pancake Breakfast
Celebrate the 50th annual July 4th Pancake Breakfast! This breakfast is hosted by the Crested Butte Fire and EMS Volunteer Squad. Get some pancakes to start the Fourth of July festivities and support our first responders! The event will also have ladder truck rides, lawn games and balloon art.

Music on the Mountain
Head to the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort on the Fourth of July for music from local opener JUST HOW and BoomBox. BoomBox is “a little house, a little blues, a little funk, a little rock and a whole lot of soul.” Enjoy the music while the kids enjoy free children’s activities.
