Hone your backcountry skills at the Crested Butte avalanche Centers annual Beacon Brush Up Sunday, December 4 behind the community school from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be professionals on hand to provide education and information regarding avalanche rescue techniques and, best of all, it's free. Join us for a free polka party featuring Pete Dunda on the accordion. Wear your festive attire and Polka dancing shoes! There will be a cash bar for purchasing libations, non-alcoholic drinks, and light snacks. We will also do our holiday history raffle drawing at 6:30pm.
