The Galentines are an all-girl, indie rock band from Boulder, Colorado. They have taken the city by storm, creating a growing and loving community of supporters early on in their conception. This incredible support led to them playing at the Fox Theatre just two months after meeting, and headlining the same venue within the year. Their sound can only be described as dynamic and captivating with influences ranging from classic girl punk like No Doubt to more modern genres, like shoegaze and bedroom pop-pulling inspiration from bands such as Wolf Alice. The girls plan to reach new audiences and leave their mark on the Colorado music scene. thegalentines-band.squarespace.com

There are also festivals in Crested Butte that celebrate local art, music, wildflowers, and more. Attending an annual event is a good way to connect with the culture of the Gunnison Valley.
