Hiring Western Colorado University students

Western Colorado University in Gunnison provides a steady funnel of talent to the local workforce. Local businesses both small and large particularly benefit from graduates of the Rady School of Computer Science & Engineering. After experiencing the Gunnison Valley’s abundant public lands and outdoor recreation opportunities while attending school, many Western students are eager to stay here after graduation.

The university runs periodic career fairs where employers can meet students in person. Plus, employers can post job and internship listings directly to Handshake, Western’s job search site. Many academic programs, especially at the Rady School, offer opportunities for businesses to work directly with students on real-world projects.
