The Man Who Saves The World? Screening

March 8 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
$14

We’re excited to share that The Man Who Saves the World?, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Gabe Polsky, is coming to Crested Butte for two special community screenings on March 8 and March 21 at the Majestic Theater. This isn’t just a film screening – it’s a community gathering. And we would truly love for you to be part of it. We’re inviting local leaders, organizations, families, and neighbors across Crested Butte to come together for an evening that sparks meaningful conversation about environmental stewardship, spiritual responsibility, and what it means for one person to make a difference. The film explores big questions about land, prophecy, purpose, and action – but it does so with humor, heart, and accessibility. Backed by trailblazers in conservation and entertainment – including Jane Goodall, Peter Farrelly, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, and Jody Hill – the documentary has been called “wildly entertaining” and “profoundly important,” and was recently named one of the Top 6 documentaries of the year by The Hollywood Reporter. At the heart of the film is Patrick McCollum, an unlikely peace advocate who finds himself pulled into an Indigenous prophecy that could shape the future of the Amazon – and possibly our planet. It’s part comedy, part spiritual journey, and the kind of story that stays with you long after the credits roll. For Crested Butte, these nights are about gathering. We’re encouraging everyone to invite their community – your peers, your staff, your family, your extended networks. Bring the people you’d want sitting next to you for a meaningful conversation afterward. We would be honored to have you and those connected to you join us on March 8 or March 21 at the Majestic Theater in Crested Butte.
