The 2026 NRO Alumni String Quartet brings together four accomplished young musicians from across the country for a dynamic chamber performance shaped by impressive training and rising professional careers. Featuring violinists Amelia Bailey and Anna Kelleher, violist Sarah Nichols, and cellist Andrew Shinn, the quartet reflects the National Repertory Orchestra’s commitment to showcasing exceptional emerging artists with strong orchestral, academic, and festival experience. Annual events in Crested Butte and Gunnison

Gunnison Valley is also host to several beloved annual events. A classic winter event is The Alley Loop, a Nordic ski race that doubles as a costume contest. In fall, Mt.
