On Saturday December 9th, Firebird Theatre Co. will be hosting their first Season Reveal Party at Public House in Crested Butte. Come see what Firebird has in store for 2024 and enjoy a night of refreshments along with a fast-paced, high energy performance that will reveal the season and keep you laughing throughout! The event will also serve as a fundraiser to help kickstart next year’s slate of productions. Doors open at 7:30pm. The show will begin promptly at 8:00pm with an approximate 45-minute runtime. Tickets are priced at $35 per person at the door or in advance at www.firebirdcb.com. Sponsorship tickets are also available! Appetizers will be provided and drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. Formal dress is encouraged, but not required. Gunnison Valley is also host to several beloved annual events. A classic winter event is The Alley Loop, a Nordic ski race that doubles as a costume contest. In fall, Mt. Crested Butte hosts the famous Chili and Beer Festival. Every summer in Gunnison, a crowd gathers to watch America’s fourth-oldest rodeo, Cattlemen’s Days. There are also festivals in Crested Butte that celebrate local art, music, wildflowers, and more. Attending an annual event is a good way to connect with the culture of the Gunnison Valley.
