Abra Karbin Ceramics at People’s Fair
I’m bringing the full rainbow to the Paragon People’s Fair in Crested Butte this Labor Day Weekend, August 31-September 1. Come find me among the mountains, the artists, the wildly good food smells, and the swirling late-summer vibes. I’ll be selling handmade ceramics that are equal parts colorful, functional, and functional. Whether you’re hunting for the perfect mug, a new kitchen conversation piece, or just need to touch every single texture on my table (you’re not alone), I’ll be there, smiling, caffeinated, and sun-screened. Come say hi, shop small, and support your favorite local ceramicist. Let’s celebrate summer with colorful fun. See you there!
Annual events in Crested Butte and Gunnison
Gunnison Valley is also host to several beloved annual events. A classic winter event is The Alley Loop, a Nordic ski race that doubles as a costume contest. In fall, Mt. Crested Butte hosts the famous Chili and Beer Festival. Every summer in Gunnison, a crowd gathers to watch America’s fourth-oldest rodeo, Cattlemen’s Days. There are also festivals in Crested Butte that celebrate local art, music, wildflowers, and more. Attending an annual event is a good way to connect with the culture of the Gunnison Valley.
