Harmels Stables

Ride through Taylor Canyon on trails that have been in use for over a century. Harmels Stables offers guided horseback rides through Taylor Canyon and into the Fossil Ridge Wilderness, with options for every skill level and age group.

Choose from one-hour rides up to a full day in the saddle. Kids seven and up are welcome, and younger riders can enjoy pony rides. The Junior Wrangler Program gives kids a hands-on stable experience they will not forget. Led by Head Wrangler Bode McKee and his team, rides are available daily. Reservations recommended. Open May through October. Use extension 6 when calling.
