Harmels on the Taylor is a fly fishing retreat and mountain resort on the Taylor River in Almont, Colorado, just 20 minutes from Gunnison and 30 minutes from Crested Butte. The property features 39 riverside cabins, Gold Medal fly fishing on a private stretch of the Taylor River, guided horseback riding, whitewater rafting, hiking, and more. On-site dining includes Bucks on the Taylor and Bites & Brews on the Taylor. Harmels also hosts weddings and private events. Open May – October.
