What is the ICELab?
The ICELab is Gunnison Valley’s entrepreneurial support organization. The facility includes open coworking space, private office space and fully equipped conference rooms. In addition, the ICELab leads programming for companies looking to export outside of the county and facilitates national level programming supporting the growth of outdoor industry companies. The ICELab has a mission of creating more high paying jobs in Gunnison County.
What We Are Looking For
A successful ICELab Program Manager will coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. They will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. They will also work hands-on to improve the coworking space and provide a high level of customer support and service. They will work closely with the ICELab Director to further the mission of the ICELab.
Role and Responsibilities
The ICELab Program Manager will be a dynamic role that includes many tasks to help support the mission of creating more, high paying jobs in Gunnison County. Broadly, some of these tasks will include:
- Assist in improving and expanding operations of the coworking space
- Take ownership of organizing small and large events to promote economic development both locally and at regional industry events
- Coordinate and lead programming run by the ICELab with a focus on developing detailed project plans and delivering every project on time within budget and scope
- Ad-hoc requests from the ICELab Director

Qualifications and Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in project management, operations or similar field
- Strong computer skills including social media, digital marketing, building presentation slides, etc.
- Proven excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
- Self-starter who must be detailed-oriented and possess the ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
- Previous experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Outdoor industry experience a plus
Compensation
Compensation range for this role will be $55,000-$75,000 DOE. This contract role does not include benefits.
