MANUAL (Hill/Bloom) Gallery Reception
Exhibition: May 22-July 27 Pioneers of digital imaging, Suzanne Bloom and Ed Hill have spent over four decades exploring photography, video, and multimedia art, earning prestigious awards like the Guggenheim Fellowship and multiple NEA Fellowships. Their work, featured in major museums across the U.S., merges technology, nature, and human perception in striking ways. Held in the Salon space during the Mountain Words Festival and throughout the Wine + Food Festival, this intimate exhibition invites audiences to experience their visionary artistry alongside literary and culinary events.

Annual events in Crested Butte and Gunnison
Gunnison Valley is also host to several beloved annual events. A classic winter event is The Alley Loop, a Nordic ski race that doubles as a costume contest. In fall, Mt. Crested Butte hosts the famous Chili and Beer Festival. Every summer in Gunnison, a crowd gathers to watch America’s fourth-oldest rodeo, Cattlemen’s Days.
