Gunnison Trails Winter Blast

Embrace the chill on these shorter days, and fuel your passion for singletrack! Join us for the Gunnison Trails 10th Annual Winter Blast – a celebration of winter trail grooming and a sneak peek into our exciting plans for the upcoming trail work season. Connect with fellow riders and trail enthusiasts in our amazing trail community. Don’t miss this chance to kick off the season with inspiration and camaraderie! Held at the University Center Ballroom on the WCU campus, doors open at 5:30pm for Dinner, Libations, Socializing & Huge Silent Auction. Dinner will be served around 6:30pm. Bring along the kiddos – KIDS EAT FREE! Kids dinner and seating is in the North conference room across the hall from the ballroom. The South conference room will host fun activities! Sitters will be on hand in both rooms. Tickets must be purchased in advance, online only here. Adult early bird tickets $35 before 2/22/25, $45 thereafter. Children are FREE. This event sells out! Annual events in Crested Butte and Gunnison

Gunnison Valley is also host to several beloved annual events. A classic winter event is The Alley Loop, a Nordic ski race that doubles as a costume contest. In fall, Mt. Crested Butte hosts the famous Chili and Beer Festival. Every summer in Gunnison, a crowd gathers to watch America’s fourth-oldest rodeo, Cattlemen’s Days. There are also festivals in Crested Butte that celebrate local art, music, wildflowers, and more. Attending an annual event is a good way to connect with the culture of the Gunnison Valley. You might even create a new tradition for you and your family and friends!
