Over the past year Paige has hosted a monthly evening for us to work on spiritual or psychological tools to better care for ourselves. These evenings have ranged in topics\, but for the next three months Paige has created a powerful set of three different womb themed processes to make use of the sculpture while it is in the space. This ladies night focuses on healing. This month we will be cutting the energetic cords\, like invisible umbilical cords\, that tether us in unhealthy ways. Which can create poor boundaries\, energy drains\, and opportunities for psychic manipulation. DESCRIPTION:Firebird’s children’s theatre series continues this November with The Snow Queen! Hans Christian Andersen’s tale of friendship and magic gets a fresh Firebird adaptation with some modern humor and wacky characters. This Firelings offering is written and directed by local teen Jack Lockman under the mentorship of Firebird member Annie Flora. Based more closely on Andersen’s 1844 work than Disney’s Frozen\, Firebird’s version is sillier and more fun than the original. With a cast of local teens and interactive audience bits\, this show will have you giggling your way into the Thanksgiving holiday! Running in the Crested Butte Community School Multi-Purpose Room from November 15th-17th\, The Snow Queen is suitable for audiences ages 5 and up. For the performance on November 15th\, the show will begin at 6:30pm whereas the performances on the 16th and 17th will be 3:00pm matinees.
