Although they’ve only been a band for less than a year\, the members have a deep-rooted history\, all growing up in Owensboro\, KY. Since releasing their first single “Madeline” in July 2024\, the band has racked up millions of streams and has played shows nationwide\, opening for the likes of Ole 60 and Shane Smith & the Saints.

DESCRIPTION:Mapping Your Story: A Writing Workshop July 31 – August 2. Thursday\, July 31. 6:00 – 8:30 pm. Friday\, August 1. 9:30 am – 2:00 pm. Lunch Provided. Saturday\, August 2. 9:30 am – 12:00 pm. Enjoy a summer three-day writing workshop at the Gunnison Arts Center in which we explore the relationship between the story that is a map\, and the map that is a story. Through writing\, lively discussion\, a visit to the Pioneer Museum\, and a walking tour of parts of Gunnison both known and lesser-known\, we’ll discover inspiration peeking out at us from everywhere. This workshop is a great way to develop an idea for your next work and is suitable for writers of plays\, screenplays\, short stories and creative nonfiction. Be sure to bring writing material\, sunscreen\, a hat and a good pair of walking shoes (on Saturday). Classes meet at the GAC. Paul Edwards\, Professor Emeritus of Communication Arts at Western Colorado University\, holds degrees from St. Michael’s College\, University at Albany\, and the University of Colorado Boulder\, and is a playwright and workshop leader whose works have been performed throughout Colorado’s Central Rockies. Minimum of 5 students\, Max of 12. Instructor: Paul Edwards Tuition: $135/student\, $114.75/GAC Member.

SUMMARY:Summer Historic Pub Crawl
DESCRIPTION:Our historic pub crawls are among some of our patrons favorite events. Each pub crawl usually features 2-3 different drinking establishments or historic buildings in The Gunnison Valley. The tour lasts about 2 hours and includes a drink at each location\, and stories and history from local historians at each location. Space is limited\, and our crawls are only offered a few times a year\, so make sure to get tickets before it sells out.
