DESCRIPTION:Crested Butte became a registered National Historic District in 1974 to preserve our distinctive buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Join us on an Elk Avenue Walking Tour to learn about the history of the buildings\, mining history\, and stories from the community. Our regularly scheduled Elk Avenue Walking Tours will resume in June 2025 on Tuesdays and Thursdays\, 10:00am-11:30am that meet at the Museum at 4th and Elk Avenue. DESCRIPTION:The second Gunnison Music Cruise of 2025 features Sunny Downpour. Sponsored by Sanctuary Somatics and Natural Grocers\, this uniquely Gunnison concert features a local band playing on a trailer towed through the city with a crowd of dozens of bicyclists following. When they hit the end of the cruise route\, the band will play for another half hour or so. Check in the event website or follow Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley on Facebook for a route map when the event is closer.
