DESCRIPTION:Crested Butte became a registered National Historic District in 1974 to preserve our distinctive buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Join us on an Elk Avenue Walking Tour to learn about the history of the buildings\, mining history\, and stories from the community. Our regularly scheduled Elk Avenue Walking Tours will resume in June 2025 on Tuesdays and Thursdays\, 10:00am-11:30am that meet at the Museum at 4th and Elk Avenue. SUMMARY:Gunnison Music Cruise
DESCRIPTION:It doesn’t get much more Gunnison than this. Join us downtown for the summer’s first Music Cruise of the season featuring the Gunnison Valley’s own Lizzy Plotkin and Jenny Hill Pankratz. The show kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with the musicians cruising\, and playing\, around town on a a trailer with a crew of people on bikes following behind. The duo will finish up with a half-hour set downtown. This first cruise of the season is sponsored by Community Foundation of the Gunnison Valley.
