We meet in Gunnison at 8am. Duane will go over his topics for the day and we will head out in the van to make stops along the way. A miners sack lunch and transportation are included in the ticket price. This tour will return to Gunnison around 4pm. Tickets for members are $75 each and for non-members are $85 each.

DESCRIPTION:This tour will be centered around the history of Taylor Park-  The Valley of the Gods. Topics will include Bomber Crash in Taylor Canyon\, Taylor Dam & the Taylor Reservoir\, Tin Cup\, Tin Cup Town Hall & Cemetery\, Dorchester\, Star & Enterprise Mines\, Rocky Brook Trail\, Deadman’s Gulch and Spring Creek. Meet in Almont in on Wednesday morning at 8am. After breakfast\, we will head out in the van to make stops along the way. A miner’s packed lunch and transport is included in the ticket price. The tour will return to Almont around 4pm. Tickets for members are $75 each and for non-members are $85 each.

Join this compelling workshop presented by performing singer-songwriter and recording artist\, Chris Coady. Whether you are just starting out and dabbling in writing your own songs or are already a seasoned writer and performer\, you are guaranteed to come away with some new tricks\, ideas\, skills\, and inspiration. During this two-hour workshop we will explore the art and craft of songwriting with an emphasis on accessing the random\, creative right side of the brain\, and then how to organize the flow of ideas into a structured song with a little help from the analytical left side of the brain. This will be an interactive workshop and questions are encouraged. Feel free to bring an instrument\, but it is not a requirement. Workshop in collaboration with the Gunnison Valley Music Association. Instructor: Chris Coady Tuition: $50/Student\, $42/GAC Member.
