DESCRIPTION:Fara Tolno from Guinea\, West Africa will be teaching drum classes for youth and adults this February 13th. Fara is a fun and engaging teacher who is passionate about sharing his culture. Drums will be provided for use or bring your own if you have it. All ages of kids are welcome but children under 7 need to be accompanied by an adult. Adults of all levels are welcome to class. If you have never played a hand drum before this is an offering you don’t want to miss! This is a fantastic opportunity for cultural exchange and enrichment and welcomes all people to come learn the rhythms of the drum. Drumming has been shown to elicit joy and connection\, promoting positive effects on the brain\, body and spirit. Bring your own drum or drums will be provided.

His dance classes will be accompanied by live drumming\, including lead drummer (and Fara’s little brother!) Etienne Tolno. The movements will be a fun workout for your whole body and a great way to open your heart.
