Creative Connections with Landscape
Outdoor immersion, writing, visual art and an approach of stillness and observation set the stage for participants to actively investigate their relationship to nature and settle into it, rather than rushing through it. Capitalizing on the beauty of an early spring hike, and coupled with nature-inspired creativity, engage in a conversation with the earth through all the senses. Reflect, journal and make art with the land through a series of visual, written and sensory exercises designed to deepen connections with the land by slowing down and truly noticing. Local artist and certified Nature Connected Coach, Ivy Walker, and environmental writer Molly Murfee, lead this exploratory half day adventure in the gorgeous backcountry of the area. Bring a journal or notebook, writing utensils and day hiking gear. Participants must be of moderate hiking ability on a variety of terrain. Art materials provided. May
include carpooling.
In order to streamline our calendar we've moved guided mountain bike trips to a separate page on our sister site MTBHome.com. You can view those trips by guide service here.
