Wednesday June 26th

Historic Crested Butte Mountain Bike Tour
Time: 10:30-11 am
Location: Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum
Price: $8 for Bike Week participants; $10 for general public
The Crested Butte Heritage Museum is offering a tour “geared” directly to participants and friends of Crested Butte Bike Week. Come and learn fun-filled facts about the start of mountain biking in CB, the history of the founding of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, our relationship with Marin County, CA and much more.

Powerade Pinnacle gO Ride Series Registration

Powerade Pinnacle gO Ride Series

Presented by gO Orthopedics, this series encourages competitors to gO Ride every Wednesday with a FREE regional recreational racing series at the Evolution Bike Park with free food, free beer and free raffle prizes after each race!  The Bike Week edition of Pinnacle racing will offer an Enduro or Downhill category on an intermediate downhill trail.  Racers will run in category order with females first then males, starting with the youngest age groups. Awards will be at Butte 66 after the race! Crazy Classic Bike Show
Time: 12-3 pm
Location: Town Park Vendor Village
Price: Free!
Bring your classic or crazy bike and show it off to fellow bike lovers. Or, come by to check out the best of CB’s bike fleet! Beers will be available for purchase for those over 21- cash only; no outside alcohol allowed.

Crested Butte Devo High School Race Team Fundraiser
Time: 5:30 pm
Location: Public House
Price: $10 for children 12 and under; $15 for the rest of us
Featuring “Filmed By Bike”, we will also be showing a bonus film called “RJ Ripper” before rolling into a prize drawing with all proceeds benefitting our high school race program. This film has a run time of 55-minutes and will start at approximately 6:30 pm so please come early to buy your drawing tickets at 1/$5 or 5/$20, grab a drink (we’ll provide the appetizers) and get your CB Devo merchandise for the season. Friday June 28th

Chainless World Championships Check-in & Registration
Time: 9 am-12 pm
Location: Town Park Vendor Village
Price: $35 day-of (cash only)
You can register in-person day-of; everyone must check-in.
You MUST drop off your bike by noon AT THE 4-WAY PARKING LOT. Please note this change- check-in and registration will be at the Vendor Village in Town Park, but bike drop-off is still at the 4-Way parking lot.
Day-of check-in/registration will close at noon (or when we sell out which happened by 11 am last year).

Chainless World Championships Bike Drop-Off
Time: 9 am-12 pm
Location: 4-Way Parking Lot
If your bike is not available for us to load onto a shuttle by noon, you will have to take it to the top of Kebler Pass yourself. Bikes WILL NOT be allowed on the participant shuttles at 2:30.

Obstacles Clinic with Backcountry Bike Academy
Time: 9-11 am
Location: 4-Way parking lot (behind the CB Visitor Center)
Price: $1 to $1,000,000- all donations tiny and gigantic are welcome and will go to CBMBA!
What could be better than getting personalized feedback AND raising money for CBMBA? Join lead coach Andy Shabo and our team of instructors for a morning of dialing in your technique as you attack gigantic (or tiny, if that’s your preference) obstacles. From never-evers to pro-racers: all ages and abilities welcome!
While this event is donation-based, please sign up, so we know how many people to expect. Registration details TBA.

Irwin Guides Shuttled Ride
Time: 10 am
Location: Meet at the Town Park Vendor Village
Price: $45
Optional Chainless drop-off at the top of Kebler on the way back! You must pre-register for the Chainless AND check-in before we leave for the ride at 10 am (Chainless check-in is at the 4-Way parking lot starting at 9 am).

Chainless World Championships Participant Shuttle
Time: 2:30-3:30 pm
Location: 4-Way parking lot (behind the CB Visitor Center)
– You MUST drop off your bike by noon- bikes WILL NOT be allowed on the participant shuttles to the top of Kebler.
– Arrive as early as possible; do not wait until the last minute. The LAST shuttle WILL be at 3:30 pm, and if it is full, YOU MAY NOT MAKE IT TO THE TOP OF KEBLER.
– You MUST have your wristband and helmet to get on the shuttles.
– No open/visible containers on the shuttles.

Crested Butte Devo Strider Cup and Slow Race Championships
Time: 3 pm
Location: Corner parking lot @ 1st and Elk Ave
Price: Free
First, race your Strider down Elk Avenue!
Then, how slow can you go!? Test your inner turtle and be the last to cross the line! Kids of all ages are encouraged to inch their way to the finish line and take home the gold! Lots of prizes, too!

Chainless World Championships
Time: 4:20 pm | 4:30 pm
Location: Participants @ top of Kebler Pass | Spectators @ corner of 1st & Elk Avenue
The Chainless World Championships are like no other! Race your fastest townie CHAINLESS seven miles down Kebler Pass to a killer party in the heart of downtown Crested Butte. Do not forget to wear your finest costume AND A HELMET, and remove that chain! Leave with the pack at 4:20, or you will have a police escort and may even just get picked up instead of riding down. Don’t wait around at the top of Kebler!
Spectators get the best views along the 1st and 2nd blocks of Elk Avenue (costumes also encouraged for spectators)!
The after-party is free, and beer will be available for purchase (21+, cash only). Chainless participants get their first two beers free!

Friday June 29th

Adaptive Sports Center Bridges of the Butte
Time: 7 am-7 pm
Location: Town Park Vendor Village
We come together for 12 hours with one purpose: to raise money to empower people with disabilities and their families to experience the life-changing facts of our program. Bridges of the Butte is a fun and unique event and is a Crested Butte-style bike-a-thon. The 300 riders raise funds for the ASC by completing laps through Crested Butte to earn pledges. All ages are encouraged to participate and riders can participate as individuals or as a team.

Crested Butte Devo Skills Clinic

Location: Tommy V Field, 910 9th Street

These will be held at CBCS parking lot, and we’ll also have clinics for you parents with BICP certified instructor Phil and Cooper Ott, who are absolutely AMAZING!! No matter how old you are, there’s always something to learn. More details here.

CB Devo BBQ Lunch
Time: 12-2 pm
Location: CB Bike Park (behind CBCS)
Price: $8
Includes organic shredded beef sandwich, Jackson’s Honest Chips, fruit, cookie and a drink. This will be a very healthy lunch to fuel these kids all day long!

PBJ Expo at CB Bike Park
Time: 2-4 pm
Location: CB Bike Park (behind CBCS)
Price: Free
Pumps, jumps and bumps clinic at the bike park! Raffle will benefit the CB Development Team. Robbie Pfunder’s Trials Show (details here) will begin at approximately 2:15 pm with the pump track racing following at 3 pm. There will be jump and trials maneuvers clinics with both Robbie and CB Devo coach Phil Ott after the pump track racing.

Jr Wildflower Classic Pizza, Ice Cream & Racer Meeting
Time: 5 pm
Location: Tommy V Field, 910 9th Street
Price: Included in registration; $10 suggested donation for all others
Pizza & Ice Cream Party followed by the pre-race meeting for the Crested Butte Junior Wildflower Classic at Totem Pole Park (located on Maroon Avenue across from the fire station) with Brick Oven pizza, Oskar Blues B. Stiff soda pop and Third Bowl Ice Cream…racers and fans welcome!
